ST GEORGE FERRY TERMINAL WATERFRONT BULKHEAD RECONSTRUCTION
Project ID No. X82372
Description
This project will reconstruct and restore the St. George Ferry Terminal waterfront bulkhead and slip scour. It will restore scour protection of the transfer bridge foundations by lengthening the existing pile encasements and backfilling the immediate underwater area with rip-rap. It will remove and renew deteriorated portions of the substructure steel bracing of slips 4, 5, and 6 which support the piles. It will reconstruct the steel bulkhead which supports the ferry terminal building and is subject to accelerated corrosion due to wave and ferry boat action.
