WESTCHESTER SQUARE PLAZA IMPROVEMENTS. THE PROJECT WILL MAKE THE SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS (INTRODUCED BY AN EARLIER OPERATIONAL PROJECT) AT THE INTERSECTION OF WESTCHESTER AVE AND EAST TREMONT AVE IN BRONX COUNTY. THE PROJECT WILL IMPROVE SAFETY BY REMOVING A RIGHT TURN SLIP LANE TO CORRECT IRREGULAR STREET GEOMETRY. THE PROJECT WILL ALSO CREATE APPROXIMATELY 4,000 SQUARE FEET OF PUBLIC AMENITIES AND LANDSCAPING. (DEMO ID NY798) PROGRAM CODE Y926.
