History

This project proposes the installation of sidewalks, street lighting and drainage improvements along State Route 28 northbound between Linden Ave. and Walnut St. This will improve walkability, provide safe access to businesses, and help preserve the current pavement along the corridor.

During daytime construction, traffic will be maintained on-site. Travelers should expect temporary daily lane closures with flaggers directing traffic.

During nighttime construction, Route 28 between Linden Avenue and Walnut Street will be closed to traffic. Variable message signs (VMS) will notify travelers prior to closure. A signed detour will be in place between 10PM and 6AM to direct traffic to use Linden Avenue.

A sequence of the work is outlined below. The schedule is dependent on weather and resource availability.
