RT 51 OVER DUNDERBERG CREEK - STORM DAMAGE REPAIR

This project makes permanent scour repairs in the vicinity of the bridge carrying Route 51 over Dunderberg Creek, including placement of stone and resetting upstream scour log timbers.  Work also includes repair of the upstream parapet/barrier in the bridge since it was destroyed in the flash flood in 2021.  Village of Gilbertsville, Otsego County.

Issue Description:
Damage to upstream stone walls, hydraulic vulnerability due to high flow events and preservation of historic structure.
