PAVING: ROUTE 9A  AND YONKERS AVENUE, TOWN OF GREENBURGH AND CITY OF YONKERS

This project will correct existing pavement deficiencies on New York Route 9A (Saw Mill River Road) from Old Nepperhan Avenue (Reference Route 983B) in the City of Yonkers to Lawrence Avenue in the Town of Greenburgh, Village of Hastings-on-Hudson and Yonkers Avenue (Reference Route 984E) from Dunwoodie Street to Bronx River Road in City of Yonkers, Westchester County. The work will primarily consist of milling and filling the roadway and applying a warm-mix asphalt overlay to the road surface to extend its service life and improve the quality and safety of the pavement. Additionally, existing pedestrian facilities will be reconstructed to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act specifications where applicable.
