CRACK SEALING & MASTIC
Project ID No. 881403 , Contract Number D265058
Description
This project consists of cleaning and sealing pavement cracks on various state highways using mastic or crack sealing treatments. This work will preserve the integrity of the pavement by preventing water infiltration and therefore prevent or slow asphalt aggregate binding degradation associated with water infiltration. In addition to preserving the pavement surface, mastic treatments may also have corrective properties that improve pavement rideability. The work will be done on state routes in various municipalities in the counties of Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, Putnam, Ulster and Westchester.
