VIL OF KINDERHOOK: ALBANY AVE PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE IMPROVEMENTS

The project will reconstruct non-compliant, poor condition sidewalks and enhance bicycle accommodations along Albany Avenue from the recently constructed Albany-Hudson Electric Trail (Empire State Trail) to the Kinderhook Village Center at State Route 9 (Chatham Street) along with associated roadway and drainage improvements. The project will improve and create pedestrian and bicycle facilities, offer alternative safe routes to school and support economic revitalization in the Town and Village of Kinderhook in Columbia County.
