Description

This project will rehabilitate the structure that carries Lawrence Street over a tributary to the Pascack Brook in the Town of Ramapo and Village of Spring Valley in Rockland County. The work will include repair/replacement of the cracked, spalled and hollow sounding portions of the abutments and pedestals. The bearings will be evaluated and where necessary restored or replaced. The concrete deck will be removed and replaced along with the bridge joints, and the girders will be cleaned and painted. The existing bridge railing and end pedestals will be removed and new bridge and approach railing will be installed.
