Project Details

Description

The city intends to construct a shared-use path between the existing Alleghany River Valley Trail and the Olean downtown trail network, while providing bike/pedestrian facilities for the Olean YMCA, Olean area schools, newly constructed hotel, and residents along the corridor. A shared use path along Wayne St will provide a safe place for bikes and pedestrians to travel through the city center and to make important connections for recreation and commuting, while supporting economic growth in the City of Olean in the County of Cattaraugus.
