Description

Malta PEDALS will construct a needed 10 foot wide pedestrian and bicycle pathway connection along a stretch of Route 9 from the Malta Gardens Mobile Home Park to Downtown Malta with lighting, a bicycle repair stand, and benches. This will allow residents a viable safe alternative to driving for transportation to Downtown's grocery store, pharmacies, banks, salons, restaurants and other businesses while promoting the health and wellbeing of the community by encouraging active transportation.
