Description

This multi-location project proposes to apply a preventative maintenance treatment to seal cracks and joint overlays and limited pavement repairs. This work will help to maintain and extend the life of the pavement surface and keeps the highway system in a state of good repair. 1. Meadowbrook State Parkway from NY27 (Sunrise Highway) to Southern State Parkway in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 2. Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) e/b & w/b from Queens/Nassau line to Exit 37 (Willis Avenue) in the Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County 3. NY24 (Hempstead Turnpike) from Wantagh Avenue to NY109 (Fulton Street) in the Towns of Hempstead and Oyster Bay, Nassau County 4. Northern State Parkway from Wantagh State Parkway to Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) in the Towns of North Hempstead and Oyster Bay, Nassau County 5. NY27A from the Nassau/Suffolk County Line to Robert Moses Causeway, in the Towns of Babylon and Islip, Suffolk County 6. NY110 (Broadway) from NY27A (Merrick Road) to NY27 (Sunrise Highway) in the Town of Babylon, Suffolk County 7. Long Island Expressway South Service Road from NY231 (Deer Park Road) to Commack Road in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County 8. NY111 (Islip Avenue) from NY27A (Main Street) to Suffolk Avenue in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 9. NY111 (Wheeler Road) from Long Island Expressway South Service Road to NY454 (Veterans Memorial Highway) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 10. NY347 (Nesconset Highway) from CR97 (Nicolls Road) to Old Town Road in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County 11. NY25A (Hallock Avenue) from NY112 (Main Street) to NY347/NY25A (Nesconset Highway) in the town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County 12.
