Bridge Deck Overlay Repairs

This project proposes deck overlay and other repairs where a layer of concrete is laid on top of the bridge deck material to preserve and prolong the service life of these existing structures and help maintain their reliability and integrity to assure the continued safety of the traveling public.  The bridges included are: 1. Long Island Expressway Southbound Service Road over Washington Avenue in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County  2. Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) westbound over Holbrook Road in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County  3. Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) westbound over Blue Point Road in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County  4. Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) eastbound over Blue Point Road in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County  In addition, provide steel girder end protection for the bridge located at Horse Block Road over Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County.
