Project Details

Description

Long Island Rail Road light duty fleet electrification. Replace approximately 17 existing vehicles with electric fleet and installation of charging infrastructure and associated power. Upgrade to achieve transition of light duty vehicles fleet to zero emission vehicles. The following are the proposed locations of chargers - West Babylon Albin Ave Yard, New Engineering Bethpage facility, Hillside Support Facility, Jamaica Station and Ronkonkoma Yard, Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
