Asphalt Pavement Resurfacing

This multi-location project proposes to resurface pavements by removing the top layer of worn, deteriorated pavement and replacing it with new asphalt and fresh pavement markings. All proposed pavement work is expected to increase safety and provide a smooth riding surface for vehicular travel for the next 10 to 12 years. 1. Southern State Parkway at Exit 18 (Eagle Avenue) ramps in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 2. Southern State Parkway westbound to  Peninsula Boulevard southbound ramp, Town of Hempstead, Nassau County. 3.  Peninsula Boulevard southbound to Southern State Parkway westbound ramp, Town of Hempstead, Nassau County. 4. Meadowbrook State Parkway southbound from Southern State Parkway to Babylon Turnpike in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 5. Meadowbrook State Parkway northbound over East Meadow Brook Culvert in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 6. Meadowbrook State Parkway Right shoulder at Exit M6E (south of the overpass) in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 7. Meadowbrook State Parkway over Southern State Parkway Bridge Deck in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 8. NY110 (Broadway) from NY27A (Merrick Road) to NY27 (Sunrise Highway) in the Town of Babylon, Suffolk County 9. NY25A (Hallock Avenue) from NY112 (Main Street) to NY347 (Nesconset Highway) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County

Project Status
