Rustic Rail Replacement

This project proposes to replace existing rustic guiderail with new guiderail that meets current engineering standards. In addition, new sections of guiderail will be added, if warranted, to ensure the safety of the traveling public  1. NY25A from the Nassau/Suffolk line to 0.09 miles west in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County 3. NY25A from the Nassau/Suffolk line to 0.7 miles east in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County 4. NY25A (St. Johnland Road) at NY25/NY25A Intersection in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County 5. NY25 (West Main Street) at the NY25/NY25A Intersection in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County 6. Southern State Parkway from Heckscher State Park to NY109 (Farmingdale Road) approach to the bridges and ramps in the Towns of Babylon and Islip, Suffolk County 7. Robert Moses Causeway from 0.7 miles south of NY27A (Montauk Highway) to Robert Moses Causeway Southern Terminus in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County
