Crack Sealing Contract

This project proposes to apply a preventative maintenance treatment to seal cracks, joint overlays and some limited pavement repair in the pavement.  This work will help to maintain and extend the life of the pavement surface and keeps the highway system in a state of good repair at the following locations: 1. Northern State Parkway from the Queens/Nassau County line to the Meadowbrook State Parkway in the Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County. 2. NY105 (Jerusalem Avenue) from Wantagh Avenue to NY107 (Hicksville Road) in the Towns of Hempstead and Oyster Bay, Nassau County. 3. NY135 (Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway) from south of NY24 (Hempstead Turnpike) to NY25 (Jericho Turnpike) in the Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County. 4. Long Island Expressway South Service Road from Upper Half Hollow Road to Bagatelle Road in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County. 5. Long Island Expressway North Service Road from NY231 (Deer Park Avenue) to Pinelawn Road in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County. 6. NY27A (Main Street) from 5th Avenue to NY111 (Islip Avenue) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County. 7. NY111 (Islip Avenue) from NY454 (Veterans Memorial Highway) to the jughandle in the Towns of Islip and Smithtown, Suffolk County. 8. NY347 (Nesconset Highway) from Old Willets Path to County Route 16 (Terry Road) in the Towns of Islip and Smithtown, Suffolk County. 9 NY25A (East Main Street) from Indian Head Road to Lawrence Road Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County. 10. NY454 (Veterans Memorial Highway) from Lakeland Avenue to NY27 (Sunrise Highway) South Service Road in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County. 11. NY25A (North Country Road) from Main Street to County Road 97 (Nicolls Road) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County. 12. NY25A from North Country Road to Wading River Manor Road in the Towns of Brookhaven and Riverhead, Suffolk County.

Estimated Substantial Completion Date - This is the day the public (including vehicles and pedestrians) has full and unrestricted use and benefit of the facilities both from the operational and safety standpoint.
