Overhead Sign Structure Replacement

This project proposes to replace twenty six  (26) overhead sign structures on Federal Aid Eligible highways in the towns of Babylon, Islip, Brookhaven, Riverhead, Huntington, and Smithtown in Suffolk County to maintain their structural integrity. The locations are: 1. Southern State Parkway westbound at 1/4 mile east of Exit 41S, 2. Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) westbound at 1 mile west of Nicolls Road underpass, 3. NY27 South Service Road at Statesman Street, 4. NY27 South Service Road at Exit to Heckscher State Parkway South, 5. Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) South Service Road (Ramp) at exit to William Floyd Parkway southbound, 6. Sagtikos State Parkway southbound at 500 feet north of merge with westbound Southern State Parkway and eastbound Heckscher State Parkway, 7. Southern State Parkway eastbound at 1/4 mile east of East Bay Shore Road overpass, 8. NY27 westbound at 500 feet east of exit to northbound NY110, 9. NY27 eastbound at 0.1 miles west of Exit 41, 10. NY27 westbound at 2/3 mile west of Heckscher State Parkway, 11. NY27 North Service Road westbound at exit to NY109 westbound, 12. Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) eastbound at Exit to NY25 eastbound, 13. NY109 westbound at Exit to NY110 northbound, 14. Sunken Meadow State Parkway southbound/ northbound at Exit SM1W, 15. Southern State Parkway westbound at east of Exit 41A, 16. NY110 southbound at southwest intersection with 22nd Street, 17. Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) eastbound at Exit 49N18. NY109 southbound at Exit to NY27 westbound, 19. NY27 westbound at Exit 43, 20. NY27 eastbound at Exit 43 , 21. NY27 westbound at Exit 42, 22. NY27 westbound at Exit 45, 23. Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) eastbound 3/4 mile east of Exit 57, 24. NY27 South Service Road at Exit to Robert Moses Causeway southbound, 25. Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) westbound at Exit 59, 26. NY27 westbound 500 feet west of Exit 42.
